It has taken about 6 years for the client to decide but today is the day.
This hand drawn poster was made in 1968, the last year of Weegee’s life, he died in Dec 1968.
My client bought Weegee’s house in New York West 47th St., when he lived with Wilma Wilcox, she bought the house in 1964 and moved Wedge in. In the house are artifacts of Weegee’s life, camera bags, lighting, some polaroids and this poster.
I will be posting this item to my site this week. Not shown but will go along with the purchase are some pieces, experimental lighting, and assorted camera items also from the estate.
