When your bed is right next to the front door, boundaries matter!

This Chapman University student’s bed is next to the door.🚪 Imagine her roommate coming home with her arms full of groceries, books, and other belongings. Without Campus Canopies, where would she naturally drop everything? You guessed it — right on the bed!

But with Campus Canopies surrounding the bed, the curtain panels create a clear visual boundary that says, “This is my space!” 🙌

It’s October, which means roommate conflict is officially in full swing.

Sales are picking up at Campus Canopies as students discover that adjusting to living with another person is… an experience. 😅

Here is a list of do’s and don’t that should help be a more considerate roommate.

1.Do not leave open food overnight on your desk or in the trash in your room. 😤.

2. Be quiet and considerate when you come home late at night and your roommate is sleeping.🤫

3. If you’re going to study late, Do not keep your desk light on and flipping pages till 2 AM. Go to the library or a common room.🤓

4. Whispering on the phone in your room thinking your roommate can’t hear you is like a megaphone to a roommate that is trying to sleep..📣

5. Do not bring a guest into your shared college room for a sleepover. Full stop! 🤯

6. Keep your side of the room, clean.and organized. 🧹

7. Keep an open line of communication.

8. Treat your roommate how you would like to be treated.🥰

This Campus Canopies is in the model showroom at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. UAFS was established in 1928 and became a part of The university of Arkansas System in 2002. There are 5000 student’s living in their Residential Halls. Campus Canopies is proud to partner with UAFS!

We are loving what this Tuskegee University student and her mother designed for her college room. Soft pink stick on wallpaper creates the prettiest backdrop, white IKEA chest of drawers, Campus Canopies rounds out the aesthetic they were looking for! Beautiful job, 🤩👏🏻 💕

While our gray curtain panels do a great job of blocking out the bright California sunshine, this Chapman University student took things a step further by creating her own happiness with fabulously colorful bedding. We love it! Great job! 🧡🩵
