I need to give a huge shout-out of thanks to everyone involved in today's 10th Annual PTA Holiday Bazaar.
First, thank you to Henry Muren for coordinating everything at the high school, arranging the wifi and sound system, manning the Christmas music playlist, sending student volunteers my way, and for staying all day to make sure the event ran smoothly.
Thank you to Joellen Coughenour and the BHS custodial staff for helping to set up, tear down, and rescue us from our emergencies during the day.
Thank you to Treasure Kriston, Abbi Robinson, Andrea Tomer, and the Destination Imagination crew for running an amazing concession stand with both breakfast and lunch items and a soup bar.
Thank you to David Sturm, Lily Tyler, Raniah Wiggins, and Leana Stillings, BHS volunteers earning their graduation hours and helping vendors set up their booths, manning the admissions table, selling basket raffle tickets, fetching lunch for vendors, and being all-around awesome and helpful.
Thank you to Krystal Olei from BMS PTSA for her amazing basket wrangling skills setting up the basket raffle and to our BMS PTSA students, El Rett, Morgan Lepley, Jason Troha, and Kinsley Troha for being superstar helpers with the basket raffle, fetching food for vendors, holding doors, carrying boxes, and being the most amazing ambassadors for Barberton schools.
Thank you to Star, Ed, and Aurora Ludwig for helping to welcome guests to the Bazaar and making sure everyone got where they needed to go.
Thank you to Debbie Patonai, Nicole Cimino, Lindsay Motil, and Michelle Culver, members of our Barberton Schools family who participated in the Bazaar as vendors today.
Finally, thank you to Heather Weeks, Allyson Mast, Melissa Nelson, Janel Baughman, Sheila McGhee, Sherri Miller, Josh Gordon, and Jeff Ramnytz for promoting the event through social media posts and shares, putting the flyer on the district website, and sending all-calls. This event would not have happened if you did not help us spread the word.
I want each and every one of you to know that your contributions--large and small--are deeply appreciated by me, Barberton PTA, our students, families, and community. Without everything every one of you had done, today's event would not have been the success it was, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I hope you all have a very lovely rest of your weekend.
