Good Morning!

I’m out working in the little greenhouse. Getting ready to work out by the high tunnel this morning. I’m waiting for the 16oz Honey bottles to be delivered so I can bottle up more honey. There is some of each size available right now and I’ll work on getting it restocked this afternoon. We have plenty of honey, I just had to reorder bottles.

As for the homemade low sugar jams- there are 4 strawberry -pints, 6 peach and one plum half pints left. Then it will be a few more weeks until I start making jam again. Probably once the figs ripen.

We are sold out of fresh blueberries and blackberries for the year.

We won’t have eggs in stock until later this week.

Picture: I’m gathering up and potting up plants for the farm stand. Yes, you heard right! These are extra plants hanging out and I potted them into nice pots. They will be up in the farm stand today! I’ll also work on getting just pot/planters in the farm stand too!

Good Morning!

We have been up trying to beat the heat and the rain! Hubby is weed-eating and cutting grass. I'm out picking blueberries, blackberries, blowing out the driveway and farm stand walkway. I am getting ready to start bottling more honey! This year's yield was amazing for us!

I wanted to thank everyone that has stopped by and bought honey and jams from out little farm stand! It's so good to see familiar faces and meet new ones too!

Quick Note: We still have plenty of honey and we are still bottling. As of right now we still have some jars of each variety of low sugar jam in the farm stand; Blueberry, Strawberry, Blackberry, Peach, Plum. We are sold out of fresh eggs until the end of the week. We are sold out of fresh blueberries and blackberries until next year.

Good Morning!

I guess I need to update y’all that we made it through unscathed last night. There was storm damage in the surrounding areas. We may have a limb or two down but no damage to buildings or structures.

Picture: Guess who is going to get his staples out today? I know one thing whatever happened to him did not slow him down one bit. This boy is wide open! Wally trying to talk me into taking him and W***y for a walk and yes he has heterochromia. 😆🥰

Good Morning!

Headed out to pick blueberries and see if I have any blackberries left to pick. I have some ever-bearing varieties that I will continue to pick as the ripen and put in the freezer for jams. I am not sure if I will get more bags of fresh berries for the farm stand. I'll keep y'all posted. After that I'll be in the kitchen finishing up making peach jam and bottling honey. Then I'm taking a short break from canning and I'll find something else constructive to do! I have enjoyed my little canning project.

Picture: My view from the front porch. I love sitting out here. I don't get to do it much in the summer with the heat but since we have been having a little rain and it's cooling off it feels good with a light breeze.

I am headed into the kitchen to start processing a case of peaches. Some for jam and some for the freezer.

Disclosure- the Strawberries, Plums and Peaches are from Dickey’s Farm everything else is from Smoot’s Farm. Y’all stop by its self serve.
