Who knew a cardboard box could double as a design tool? 📦😎
The customer wanted to see the proportions before the table was built, so I mocked up the base and used a cardboard box as a temporary tabletop.
I'll admit, I spent most of the time hoping it didn't pull a Humpty Dumpty and hit the shop floor. 😂
The real top is now glued up, the base is in progress, and this custom red oak trestle table is starting to come together.
Can't wait to see it finished in walnut.
