Another Geaux

09/20/2026

After long days at work, I started coming home, changing clothes and heading right back to the furniture. A little sanding here. A little paint there. One chair at a time.

And somewhere in those evenings, The Another Geaux Holiday Collection began.

This collection will be about what I love most about this time of year: homes filling up, tables getting crowded, old traditions returning and beautiful pieces beginning new chapters with new families.

These won’t be “Christmas furniture.” They’ll be timeless pieces designed to live beautifully in your home all year, but ready to become part of the memories made around them this holiday season.

And the first one is ready.

I couldn’t think of a better way to start than a vintage table paired with Ethan Allen chairs

The Another Geaux Holiday Collection is officially here. ✨

Rehabbed. Reimagined. Relived.

This Another Geaux rehab was fun to work on. I was excited to see the beautiful wood grain that revealed itself when the thick layers of blue paint was stripped from this solid wood table. After revealing the wood, I knew I didn’t want to cover it up again. I whitewashed the entire table and that was absolutely the right decision.

The chairs were a great deal at an estate sale. I knew they were vintage and after researching, I discovered they are Victorian Revival from the late 1800’s.

This beautiful offering can be purchased on Marketplace. She’s gorgeous and ready for her next chapter.

Welcome friends and family around a table that feels as warm as home.

This solid wood dining collection has been lovingly refinished in my custom handcrafted blue—a soft, timeless shade inspired by quiet mornings and blooming cottage gardens. The rich walnut stained tabletop and matching bench provide beautiful contrast while allowing the natural wood grain to remain the star of the show.

There are dining sets…and then there are gathering places.

Ma Cheri Deux by Another Geaux

This beautifully refinished solid wood dining set has been thoughtfully reimagined in soft pale blue with a hand-finished natural wood top accented by a delicate whitewash that allows the wood grain to remain the star of the show.

Instead of leaving you with an awkward extra chair, I transformed the original captain’s chair into a charming upholstered bench, giving this set a custom look that’s both beautiful and practical.

This one just stepped right off the pages of Southern Living magazine. Meet Noir Botanica!

So this little cabinet was definitely headed for the burn pile. I’m so thankful they posted it on marketplace first. She was peeling on the top and so loose in all her joints that we had to handle her with care every time we worked on her. After stripping her back to her original wood finish, gluing, clamping and drilling her back together, she started to show potential and we knew she deserved Another Geaux. Shortly after being reintroduced on marketplace, she had a new home to continue her story. See her before and after.
