Here are the cabinet color combinations that we’re loving! Two-tone kitchens have been a hit in design recently, and it’s easy to understand why. Selecting a broader color palette gives our clients a chance to add a pop of color or lean into a moodier aesthetic for their space, without having to fully commit.

What pop of color are you looking to add to your home this season?

With the temperature finally dropping {slightly} in Baton Rouge, it feels like the perfect time to share this fall-inspired flatlay. 🍂

Deep, moody and full of character, this flatlay feels like a well-aged Cabernet waiting to be opened.

Dark oak cabinetry lays down a dramatic base reminiscent of charred French oak barrels, while the burgundy backsplash echoes the rich tones of pressed grapes. Subtle veined countertops and warm beige flooring balance the deeper hues, capturing the sun-bleached cobblestones of a vineyard courtyard. Sleek polished brass fixtures brighten the space, catching and reflecting the light like the golden foil of a favorite vintage.

Uncork this look for yourself:
Cabinets: JSI Cabinetry Essex Haven
Tile: Zia Tile Sumac
Countertops: Riviere Rose
Flooring: Industrial Cinder Rail
Faucet: Purist in Brass

In this kitchen remodel the pieces are simple and the result is simply beautiful. This two-tone kitchen features a large, wood-grain island packed with storage and seating. Combining the natural finishes from the island with more formal elements like warm white cabinets, crown molding, and a customized range hood gives this kitchen a beautiful blend of lived-in and glamorous.

Sisters supporting sisters & local businesses. 🤍

One of the sweetest parts of this new chapter has been getting to share the small-business journey with my sister. We may be in two very different industries, but we both have the same goal: taking care of people in our community.

At The Designery Baton Rouge, we help make the spaces you call home beautiful and functional. And at Billy Cormier State Farm, my sister and their team help protect the people and things that make that home so special. 🏡❤️

I’m so proud of what they’ve built, and so grateful to have my sister cheering me on as we build The Designery here in Baton Rouge.

Here’s to family, community, and supporting local! 🏡

What we do & why we do it: Creating beautiful spaces is exciting, but improving somebody’s happiness in their home is fulfilling.

Thank you for giving us the chance to make a lasting impact in your family home.
