FOUR YEARS. 🖤
Four years ago today, I took a chance on myself. I had no idea how high the stakes would be or just how much it would change my life.
These past four years have taught me more about myself than I ever imagined. I’ve grown, struggled, cried, questioned everything, and learned so much about who I am and what really matters.
I’ve learned that hard work isn’t always rewarded right away. Owning a business isn’t all cute displays, pretty products, and fun events. Sometimes it’s long days, sleepless nights, empty bank accounts, and wondering how you’re going to make it another month.
I’ve learned that time is something you never get back. That family matters more than anything, and sometimes chasing a dream comes with sacrifices you didn’t fully understand when you started.
But more than anything, I’ve learned the importance of showing up.
Showing up when it’s hard. When you want to quit. When you want to cry. When the bills keep coming but the customers don’t. When you’re exhausted and questioning whether you’re even cut out for this.
You just keep showing up.
And somehow, here I am.
FOUR YEARS.
Four years of doubts, sacrifices, figuring things out as I go, and wondering if I could do it. Four years of proving to myself that I can.
There have been plenty of moments when I wanted to throw in the towel. But this little boutique has become so much more than a business. It’s a piece of who I am. Something I built with an idea, a whole lot of hope, and a stubborn refusal to give up.
And I know I didn’t get here alone.
To everyone who has shopped, shared a post, told a friend, encouraged me, or believed in me when I struggled to believe in myself, THANK YOU.
I don’t know what the next four years will look like, but I do know this…
Four years ago, I took a chance on myself. And today, I’m still here. Still learning. Still growing. Still showing up.
And that alone is something I’m incredibly proud of.
Happy 4 years, Pine & Maple Boutique. 🖤
We made it this far, and that’s worth celebrating.
