As we head into 2022, I've been thinking about how we want our inside worlds to comfortably host us and our families as we work, play, rest and create, at home. I was reading about interior design trends for 2022 and felt inspired to share part of the forecast! American interior designers are predicting the rise of earthy colors and all shades of brown. Clients are looking for nature-inspired surfaces and accents—like alabaster, limestone, marble and curvy and mushroom shapes. “Clients are asking for warmth, comfort and airiness—this seems to be a common thread. . ." “Who wouldn’t want to design a room that feels like a warm hug?” More and more clients are also asking for saturated color to bring a sense of cheerfulness into their personal spaces. Florals and the Grandmillenial movement are strong!
