When our clients said “swamp camp in Cajun country,” we said: challenge accepted. 🌿✨
Heart of the Bayou was a full Sugar Moss design project — and our rule from day one was no box stores. Not one piece. We sourced vintage furniture with actual history, hung original retro art, and layered in that warm, homey feel that only comes from things that have lived somewhere before.
The goal wasn’t just beautiful. It was bookable. A short-term rental that guests choose because the experience is genuinely unlike anything else in the Atchafalaya Basin.
We think we nailed it. The reviews agree. 😏
