The pool needed to complement the property, not consume it.

When these homeowners first started planning, they were considering a much larger 14' x 30' pool. But the one-acre lawn overlooking the Beaufort River was one of the things they loved most about the property, so the design evolved around preserving as much of that open space as possible.

The result is this Leisure Pools Palladium Plunge 20, tucked beneath the live oaks and positioned to feel like part of the landscape rather than the centerpiece of it.

By scaling down, they didn’t give anything up. In fact, they gained a few things that made the pool fit their lifestyle even better.

We incorporated spa jets and a heater, allowing the pool to function almost like an oversized spa during the cooler months. An automatic pool cover helps keep the heat in and maintenance to a minimum.

Under a live oak canopy, that combination of a smaller water volume, heat, hydrotherapy, and an automatic cover makes this pool incredibly easy to own while still giving them a beautiful place to swim, relax, and enjoy one of the best views in Beaufort.

Sometimes less really does give you more.

With several community pools already nearby, these homeowners weren’t looking for another place to swim — they wanted a quiet retreat of their own.

Tucked into a compact space beside the marsh, this Leisure Pools Palladium Plunge 16 in Silver Grey was designed to make the most of every available inch while still feeling calm, open, and connected to the coastal setting.

The full-length tiered waterfall became the defining feature of the space, adding a little more privacy while filling the courtyard with the peaceful sound of moving water. Paired with the light stone, blue water, palms, and marsh views beyond, the result feels right at home on Fripp.

It’s proof that a pool doesn’t have to be large to create a true getaway.

Sometimes the best pool design isn’t about going bigger — it’s about making every square foot count.

This Precision 20 in Graphite Grey was installed in a place you don’t see every day: the front yard of this beautiful home in Habersham.

But once you see the finished space, it makes perfect sense.

Working alongside Allen Patterson Builders, the goal was to create a private courtyard that felt like it had always belonged with the home. The surrounding pool pavilion, courtyard wall, and landscaping all work together to turn what could have simply been a front yard into a completely different kind of outdoor living space.

And this pool was designed for more than just swimming.

At the homeowners’ request, we incorporated hydrotherapy jets at carefully selected heights along the pool walls, creating designated areas where they can sit back and enjoy targeted water pressure for relaxation and recovery. As more homeowners begin thinking about their pools as part of their overall wellness routine, features like this allow us to customize the experience around how the pool will actually be used.

The project also includes an Integra automatic pool cover, giving the homeowners added peace of mind while helping keep the pool clean and protected when they’re traveling.

A small pool. A highly considered space. And a good example of what can happen when the pool is designed as part of the architecture rather than simply added to the backyard.

When we set out to build our own backyard, we knew it had to represent everything we believe a great outdoor space should be.

Not just beautiful.
Not just functional.
But a place where family and friends naturally want to gather.

After months of planning, countless design revisions, and plenty of attention to every detail, we're excited to finally share the finished result.

Set beneath centuries-old live oaks overlooking the marsh, this project was designed to complement the natural beauty of the Lowcountry—not compete with it. From sunrise coffee to evenings around the fire bowls, every element was selected with purpose.

As pool builders, we ask our clients to trust us with one of the biggest investments they'll make in their home. We believe that trust starts by holding ourselves to the very same standards we'd expect in our own backyard.
