It’s been a minute since I’ve done any Bible journaling.
This morning I was reading the Bible, but my mind felt busy and distracted. I was honestly just struggling to stay focused on what I was reading instead of the 78 other things I was thinking about. Then I read Psalm 37:7. “Be still before the Lord.” I read all of chapter 37 and words like “trust,” “take delight,” “commit,” “wait patiently,” and “do not fret” jumped out at me and it felt like God was saying, “Just be still in my presence and let go of all the other noise and distraction. Leave it with me and just take delight in being here with me. Trust me to take care of the rest.”
