🌧️⛈️ Well… looks like the barn and I are taking a rain day! 😂

Mother Nature has made it pretty clear that I won’t be getting much work done at the barn today. With this storm rolling through and the rain coming down, I think I’ll take the hint and stay put. ☔️

Sometimes you just have to slow down, listen to the rain, and let the barn wait for another day. 🌧️💚

🌸🕷️ Meet Charlotte & Myrtle 🕷️🌸

I was out enjoying my flowers when I spotted these two beautiful ladies hanging around the garden. 🌿🌸

Of course, I couldn’t just leave them nameless… so meet Charlotte and Myrtle! 😂

They’ve apparently decided my garden is the perfect place to set up housekeeping, and honestly, I’m okay with that. They’re catching some of the unwanted garden visitors for me. 😉

Although I will admit… they are MUCH easier to appreciate from a distance! 😂

Nature is pretty amazing when you take the time to stop and look a little closer. 💕🌿

🌿 What a wonderful weekend it was!

Our barn sale was a HUGE success, and we couldn’t be more thankful! ❤️

It was so nice seeing some familiar faces and meeting so many new ones. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shopped and chatted, it truly means so much. 🥰

Keep your eyes open for what’s coming up in September & October.

A couple of nights ago, I stepped outside and was greeted by this beautiful moon. 🌕 It was one of those moments that made me pause and simply admire God’s creation.

As I looked at it, this verse came to mind:

“The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.” — Isaiah 60:19

The moon is breathtaking, but it is only a glimpse of the majesty of its Creator. One day, we won’t need the sun or the moon because we will live in the glorious presence of the Lord Himself. His light will never fade, and His glory will never end.

Until then, every moonlit sky is a reminder to lift our eyes—not just to the heavens, but to the One who made them.

I can’t wait for that day. ❤️

We’re all set up at Wander Ellwood and ready for a fun evening! 🌿💚

If you’re out and about tonight, stop by and say hello! I’ll have a little bit of everything—from beautiful plants and accessories to handmade barn wood birdhouses, wood signs, jewelry, and a few other treasures.

Whether you’re looking for something special to take home or just want to browse and chat, I’d love to see you. Supporting local vendors means so much to all of us, and it’s always a blessing to meet new faces and catch up with familiar ones.

Peace Lily will be a vendor tomorrow evening at Wander Ellwood from 5:00–9:00 PM, and we’d love to see you there!

NEW: The 500 block of Lawrence Avenue will be closed during event hours to create a safer space for pedestrians. This closure will not impact vendor setup or assigned locations.
