I delivered it, but realized that I never shared the completed piece. Found pulls that really tied the piece together. Subtle hits of copper highlight the edges.

Although I may not be actively sharing my work, I continue to paint in my spare time. Balancing a full-time job with two part-time businesses has been a challenge, but it's fulfilling to see others appreciate my artistic talents. I recently completed a piece for my sister, transforming a family heirloom in disrepair into a beautiful, blue-hued work of art. Refinishing was not a viable option, so I opted for a modern, old-world aesthetic that will endure for the next 30 years.

The customer that bought my mocha hutch picked up these end tables. Just happened to have some in storage and painted them a color he selected, a light beige with a black glaze and brass detailing. He waited patiently through our business lawn care season.

Just keep moving! A wise person I know said to me.

How do we do that?

In the summers, part-time, and another way to be creative, we have a landscaping business aside from our furniture and art business and full-time jobs. This is what we do at our home when we have a free minute from supporting our customers.

My hibiscus, hydrangeas, roses, lilies and peonies have been incredible this year, I just had to share. Can’t wait to paint these beauties on canvas…

Not sure how beautiful pieces of real wood furniture get to this state? Why?

all of our pieces are in need of some sort of work, but this was a shocker once we took it apart. I immediately said put in storage. 2 years later…here we are.

Tim(Babe) is helping me with this one. Something we do together sometimes, okay well, just when I don’t have the patience.(😉)

His craftsmanship working this one..New drawer beds, completly removed the finish and repaired all of the joints. Fantastic!!

After I clean it, I’ll linen beige and brown stain wash this for a light wood look. New farmhouse pulls and top coat and this beauty will be available.
