The Inception

I'd like to take this time to give a little background to our business and our story. Tim and I have been together for almost 10 years and have been married since 2015. We have four beautiful children, six if you count the pups. We started Vinyl Inception by making tshirts for friends and family then ultimately making a couple wooden signs which one was for a donation for a family reunion the other one we kept as memorabilia. We thought to ourselves about how much we loved making those signs. We then asked ourselves "would people buy them?" We then decided to test that theory and see if people would love our signs as much as we do. We then got to work researching craft shows and different styles of signs we could make. Our very first show we went to was the "Mutt Strut" and we had about two weeks to create products to sell. We soon realized that making signs is hard work yet rewarding but the joy we get when seeing the finished product is well worth it! They say it's not work if you love doing it. We went on to do 3 more craft shows and were soon HOOKED! We love every aspect of making signs and doing shows. From meeting new people to hearing such positive feedback about our signs and the quality of each piece. All points are equally important to us as we love what we do and we love who we do it for. Tim is the brains behind the saw. He cuts the strips for the frames, cuts the wood for our plank signs and frames, and sands each and every piece (I hate sanding). I am the brains behind the designs. I create the designs on the computer, paint, stain, cut the vinyl and place the vinyl. I like to think that Vinyl Inception is like a reflection of our marriage, we both have our roles and both do our share in order to fulfill a strong, sturdy, and beautiful finished product (our family). Without Tim I wouldn't have the perfectly cut and sanded wood to place my designs on. Without my painting, staining and designing Tim would only have planks of wood. Even having separate roles for each of our projects we always work together building each piece with care and love (Tim really gets attached lol). When you purchase a sign from Vinyl Inception it's like purchasing a piece of our family (well a piece made by our family). I hope that this post (sorry it's so long) will help our followers understand how much we love what we do and appreciate each and everyone of our customers. Because of you we can continue to be creative and build beautiful pieces to offer from our family to yours. We love you all and thank you for your support!
