We begin every project by meeting in the client’s home and listening.
In this Hillsboro kitchen, the homeowner liked the size and layout but had been living with a few long-standing frustrations. The grooved flooring was tough to keep clean, the lower cabinets were awkward to use, and the microwave took up valuable counter space. They also wanted to bring more color into the room to give the kitchen a bit more personality and warmth.
Our approach was simple: keep the parts of the kitchen that already worked and thoughtfully improve the ones that didn’t. That meant new base cabinetry with easy-access drawers, finishes that are simpler to maintain, under-cabinet lighting, improved outlet placement, and better-organized counter space that supports everyday cooking.
What are the pain points in your kitchen? The things you’ve been working around for years? Those everyday frustrations are often the best place to start a remodel conversation!
