at showcasing the love and effort you’ve put into your family than our one-of-a-kind charcuterie boards. Located in the small town of Bedford, Pennsylvania, the Cessna Ridge Sawmill began as any good story does: a few good ole boys sitting around a fire, egging each other on. Kelly leaned across the fire, the seat groaning in protest under him, and not for the first time, mentioned how great having a sawmill could be for them. We’ll never know what convinced Matt, the “little cousin,” to say yes, but on that crisp winter night surrounded by laughter and music, the Cessna Ridge Sawmill was born. Each of our boards started off as a fallen tree on top of the Cessna Ridge. The variety of oak, cherry, walnut, hickory, and maple are naturally dried and repurposed into beautiful works of art by our small team. Each board is unique in cut and color and can be used in a number of ways throughout your home. From your day-to-day cutting board used frantically to get dinner ready to a centerpiece amongst fine wines and cheeses, your board will catch the eye of everyone in the room. Both hearty and beautiful, your board will be sent to you ready to meet the needs of your daily routine. Got our hands on some pretty cool exotic wood. Tiger wood, Caribbean Walnut, and Peruvian Walnut. Really fun to work with. Dulls the blades on the saw pretty quick though.
