Recently hung these valances for a customer who is a Civil War buff! The tassels were an afterthought, but certainly set them off in military fashion! Happy 250 America!

Made this custom bench seat cushion about 18 years ago and customer decided the chairs at other side of table were too hard and back of chairs rubbed their backs so they wanted cushions for chairs. Well found a piece of their fabric and with some fretting and squeezing managed just enough for seats, but had to find a coordinating fabric for back. This remnant didn’t look back and customer can now sit comfortably at table! Made for a dressy first class look! As always pictures don’t do my work justice!

Thanks to Downtown Bedford Inc for selecting me to replace the sheer draperies in the office, here is before and after pictures! The sheer had gotten so thin, Lindsay had a terrible glare on her computer screen! No shame for them, since Roy had made them in 1971! When Juli Gonsman first became manager, she asked me to repair them. So I washed them and replaced almost all the stitching as it had dry rotted then. When folks say I’m expensive, it’s because you get quality draperies that last and this is proof. The new fabric is a heavier sheer to block the glare. Each window has 10 yards of fabric made into panels. Stop in to the office and see for yourself.

The theme for window decorating in Downtown Bedford this year was “Twas the Night Before Christmas!” So Merry Christmas to all my wonderful customers, friends, family, and window followers, who continue to support me! (Notice the tree decorations, old spools of thread!) Thank you!
