And that’s a wrap…
Natural Gatherings has officially said our good byes to 106 N. Main Street. Thanks again to all our customers who have shown their support, expressed their praise, and look forward to seeing where the wind will take us next!
I’d also like to personally thank my parents, Jane and Rick. For not only giving me the opportunity, but encouraging me to put my talent, creativity and love for wood work to use by making decor to display and sell in their shop. Having had this opportunity means more to me than you will ever know. It not only enhanced my skills, and creativity with wood working; but too, has played an intricate part in making me who I am today. Your belief in me (at a time when it felt the rest of the world had turned their backs) gave me the strength to keep going, and the courage to believe in myself. You two are my biggest fans, and I will deeply miss hearing customers ask me if I’m “the daughter”, because that was ALWAYS followed by “your parents are so proud of you and your work”. Not too many things in life beat hearing such words… thank you mom and dad, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
You two are the prime example why “shopping small” is such a “big deal” for so many. You don’t walk into a Target, Michaels, or Macys, and get greeted by the same tender each time. You don’t gain the trust or faith in their ability/skill in redoing your furniture, family heirlooms, wreaths and arrangements. Your not handed free vegetables in the summer, winterberry during the holidays, or sunflowers in the fall. You don’t hear the blues playing overhead, nor do they have their own personal musician playing guitar in window…Natural Gatherings, however, had this….and so much more. The town of Belair will surely miss you.
If walls could talk, I’m certain that the walls at 106 N. Main, would be thanking you for the 20 years of your time, and for the beauty you brought to the building….that they will miss being the means to which you displayed your talent, uniqueness, creativity, and love for flowers….that they were honored to have been the place where you turned your dream into a reality.
Though these walls will never look the same, the experience, opportunity, and memories made within these walls will be cherished by our Natural Gatherings family indefinitely. Thank you all again, we look forward to continuing with custom orders, and will let you all know where the wind takes us from here!

It’s with a heavy heart, to have to announce... Natural Gatgerings, will be moving on, saying goodbye to our store front, at 106 N. Main St.

We are forever grateful, having had the opportunity to create a little “unique something” and helping you make your house a home. It truly was a privilege to have such wonderful, loyal, supportive customers, and a pleasure in really getting to know so many of you along the way.

With the help of each one of our customers,
Jane’s (my mom) dream, of owning a boutique to which she could combine her passion with her talent for dried floral designing, was brought to life.
Within a few years, the boutique began to flourish. Rick (my dad) “retired” for the second time, expanded his already plentiful flower gardens, growing and drying the brunt of what Jane used to design. His expertise, green thumb and love for gardening. With Jane’s talent and eye for design. Was a match made in heaven, and carried this dream of Jane’s for over twenty years.

I later began making signs and wall art for the shop, which lead to a love for woodworking, and creating one of a kind furniture, birdhouses, and home décor. Truly making it a family business, and 106 N. Main like a second home to us all.

We will miss decorating and filling the shop, but mostly we will miss the faces, conversations, and support from our customers.

On behalf of the Natural Gatherings family. I want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, in making these years so memorable, and rewarding.

A special thank you to Aunt Mic for all your help. You were always right there, when ever we needed a hand in the shop or a partner for a trip to PA. It means the world to have someone you can rely on, and you are most definitely that someone for so so many. You are one of those “diamond in the rough… breath of fresh air…one in million” types of people, and it’s an honor to call you family.

Though we are saying good bye to the shop at the end of March. We will be taking custom orders per request, and are in the makings of landing our creations and designs in another shop in the very near future. We will post updates on Facebook. Happy Birthday Rick Barger!!!!
Please help me in wishing a very happy birthday to…the man in the window who plays the guitar, the man who has the greenest thumb I know, the man who gives the best sales pitch for Natural Gatherings, the man I am honored and grateful to have the privilege in calling “my dad”!
Dad…you have achieved many things in your life, have had many successes, and to say your talented is an understatement. I only wish I could gift to you, the greatest gift you have given me. It was you that has taught me the greatest sense of accomplishment comes from doing things with your own two hands. It was you that encouraged me to build. It wasn’t til years later I realized just how important a life lesson building truly was. To build you must use your imagination, have a vision, see into the future what others can’t yet see. To build requires you to critically think and have the ability to make necessary adjustments in your plan to reach your goal. You not only create something in the end, but through the process you build your self up, boost your confidence, and realize your capable of more than you previously gave yourself credit for. This lesson you have taught me is irreplaceable!
Thanks for all you do, we love you more than you will ever know! Happiest of birthdays to you Dad!

Please lend me a hand in wishing, the “main lady behind the curtains” here at Natural Gatherings …Jane Barger, a very happy birthday. She is the greatest lady I know, after all she gave me life😉! Her talent speaks for itself, and is eluded in each and everyone of her arrangements and designs. She is as kind as she is talented, and I couldn’t have hand picked a better mom if I tried. Not only have you been my mom, but you have been my friend, my teacher, my cheerleader, and my biggest fan. You pick me up when I’m down, and you stand beside me (even on some of my craziest Christi ideas/visions). I hope you have a wonderful day doing you. I love you and can’t express enough how much I appreciate all you (and dad) do for all of us. I’m honored to be your daughter, and eternally grateful I had the privilege of calling you mom! Happy birthday to you….and here’s to many more! 🥰💕🌸🎂🎉
