I was excited to add the finishing touches to our showroom front porch!
The chairs were thrifted and custom painted by Mr Jonas. I ordered the cushions from Walmart. Yellow pillows, hanging plants from Target, wreaths Kirkland's Home, olive tree and planter box the Pallet Sale.
Another visit to Two Seasons Greenhouse brought the floral goodness. Laken was SO helpful sharing which plants would do best in this mostly shade area. I had the large pots left over from the Fall mums. So I grabbed soil and a mixed flat along with 4 gal pots of some beautiful foliage and a completed porch pot to create this masterpiece.
Design doesn't have to rigid, or costly. You can mix and match from different avenues to create something magical!

I am so proud of Hannah Heaton and her team at Flat River Doulas, LLC. It has been so amazing to see the transformation of this building into what she dreamed, a warm, inviting space for community to support each other. The Mama Lounge is a calming breath in the windstorm of life.

Inspiration happens anywhere. Items don't have to cost a fortune to add personality to your space. I highly suggest when grabbing a trend item to look in unlikely places. I found this J trivet at the local Dollar General for a mere $5. French country blue and white and "Cross stitch/ grandma core" are on trend. This little tray gives me that look while protecting my rolltop desk from the sweat of my iced latte.

Details matter. Switching from standard storm windows to custom double hung is not only for saving on heating and cooling. THEY LOOK BEAUTIFUL. The grid on the top sash mirrors the interior windows of this 1920's home. (Yes, there are in fact 14 windows on this porch)

I was stoked to see this as a finished project! Working with this homeowner was so great. He had a vision of low maintance that would support a deer mount or two. We mixed various colors of grey, white and tan to make this space as neutral, yet inviting as possible. SW Gossamer Veil for the walls and SW High Reflective White for the trim and ceiling. I sure do love my job!

Guest room/ work out space. I took a poll a while back with 3 wallpaper choices. I ignored the winner and went with my gut. And voila, chef's kiss. Mr Jonas was gracious enough to hang this wall for me. Promptly explaining it will not happen again. But I know his love for me is greater than his opposition to wallpaper. Still gonna wait a bit before flexing that theory. Maybe Mother's Day played a factor, either way. It's AWESOME.
Next on the hunt for a rug, mount a tv in the corner AND a murphy bed.
