We're sort of celebrating... we revealed this beautiful project to you about a year ago now and we thought it was well worth another look! Our clients "dream come true" was the making of decades of their own hard work and planning for this season in their lives. Now they enjoy a dream coastal retreat including lots of gatherings with family and friends.

Last year, as we walked through the big "reveal" with them, they said they could see themselves spending time in every space in the house and immediately having the feeling of "home".

The functionality of each area was as clear as its beauty and everything felt REALLY comfortable. From the large chef's kitchen to dining space for 10, from the amazing new deck overlooking the bay that runs the entire length of the home to the soft leather recliners for relaxing in, from the double sofa layout in the living room to the second floor gathering "hangout" with beautifully tiled wet bar... this place has it all, a lifetime dream!

Following up on yesterday’s reveal of the bedrooms and baths in our “Urban Lodge” renovation project on Boston Harbor... here’s another look at the first floor Guest Bedrooms and the second floor Loft Bedroom area.

From Maine roots to Boston living, it’s a non-traditional urban retreat with a juxtaposition of rustic vibes, some traditional New England features, and urban city life. Enjoy your weekend!

And we are back to reveal more of The Urban Lodge! Today you'll see the renovated bedrooms and baths!

Just to remind you, our vision came from Maine roots and Boston living. It's a non-traditional urban retreat with a juxtaposition of rustic vibes, some New England features, and an urban city life. The paint colors are simple. We used a warm white that pairs well with the dark wood and accents of charcoal blue to bring in the Boston Harbor just outside. And we didn't just create a new look and feel for this home, we also developed better layouts for all of the areas.

Both existing bathrooms were very outdated and oddly configured. We made better use of the space by straightening angled walls. We also gave them the feeling of a rustic spa-like oasis. And staying true to the inspiration, the bathroom tile selections carry a similar Boston Harbor water theme.

And there's still a bit more to reveal on this project!

Here's a little inspiration for you… something we like to call a “Circle of Friends”! Now doesn't that sound like a fun thing to have in your home?

One of our favorite furniture placements, this cozy conversation spot is created by gathering a group of chairs around a center surface. The chairs could be all the same or maybe even alternating in either style or fabric. We’ve designed a “Circle of Friends" into a number of our projects and are always looking for opportunities to work them into new projects too.
