One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to create something truly custom for the people who have supported LH Candle Co. from the very beginning.
A few weeks ago, one of my longtime retail partners asked me to create a custom candle for their store. This is now the second candle in our "Store Front Collection", and this one is extra special to me.
Our story goes all the way back to August of 2024. I had driven past Bohemia for years, and one afternoon I finally decided to stop in. The second I walked through the door, I thought, "this is the perfect place to carry my candles" (back when I was still LH Mercantile).
I asked who owned the store, got Milea’s contact information, and that same night I went home, put together a sample box, wrote a handwritten note, and dropped it off a few days later.
From the moment I met Milea, I knew it was going to be a perfect fit. She became my second ever wholesale customer and one of a handful of people who took a chance on me in the very beginning, which makes this partnership even more meaningful.
To this day, I’m very intentional about who I partner with locally, and I’m proud to say we’re heading into our third fall season together.
Milea started Bohemia back in 2013 with furniture and has grown it into a full boutique with everything you need. Now going into year 13, I couldn’t be happier for her and everything she’s built.
