What an Amazing day at The Gift Garden!
Participating in the "Petal it Forward"program for the last 10 years has been and is such a rewarding experience.Today was like no other, starting out with our wagon loaded with bouquets of fresh cut flowers and headed down Main Street. We met many Tourists, Shoppers, Shop Owners and Employees of many local Downtown businesses, presenting them with 2 bouquets, 1 to keep and 1 to "Petal it forward" . The expressions and emotions of the recipients making their day Brighter and Happier with a simple bouquet of fresh cut flowers, makes this experience so rewarding. Thank you for letting The Gift Garden brighten up your day and bring many smiles to So many people.

The Floral Industry knows that Flowers make people Happy !
Wednesday, October 14th is National "Petal it Forward Day"
The Gift Garden, once again is a participating Florist in the National "Petal it Forward Day " program, as we have done for the last 10 years.
We will be out and about during the day handing out 2 bouquets of flowers, 1 for the lucky Recipient to keep and 1 for them to "Petal it Forward". We want to show our Community the true Power of Flowers. The Gift Garden, along with the Society of American florists and their partnership with Major Universities and Researchers have Scientifically proven that Flowers have a positive effect on our emotional well being.
The happiness expressed when giving Flowers is just as strong as receiving them, that is why The Gift Garden has enjoyed being a part of the Bennington Community as your Main Street Florist for the last 50 years and we look forward to many more years to come.

This past Saturday was just the Perfect day for our 3 Beautiful Brides and what Gorgeous Venues they all chose.
The Bennington Muesum was the location for our first wedding. The Newly Renovated Courtyard is just Absolutely gorgeous looking! The staff are just Fantastic and very accommodating and The Paresky Wing was a Beautiful choice for a simple Reception.
Then it was off to the Beautiful 1768 Hubbell Homestead at Colgate Park, with its Gorgeous views and Beautifuly landscaped property. Vicki and Staff do such an Amazing Job creating the Perfect Wedding Venue.
As we loaded up the car for our third wedding adventure to Ballston Lake ,NY for this couples wedding at their Beautiful Horse Farm (Hidden Meadow/Lucky 7) what an exquisite place for them to exchange their love for each other. We were truly Blessed and Thankful to be a part of their special day.
The Gift Garden wishes Lydia & Alec, Taylor &Tyler And Nicholas & Suzanne much love and Happiness in their Futures together ❤️

Good Bye New Hampshire, Hello Gift Garden!

In our profession and owning not one but 2 businesses, we don't usually have a lot of time off to spend with family, but after years of being a parent and becoming Grandparents, we realize how important family is, so when our grandchildren ask us to close early to have dinner or to come to a party to celebrate the last Sunday of summer with a Sundae, we do so. for the last 6 years we have taken the 2nd weekend from Friday till Monday in September to spend with our oldest daughter,who now has some important people in her life. It was a pleasure to spend time and get to know them and make them a welcome part of our family. It was also important to take time for ourselves. We work extremly hard to bring you the freshest product both local and abroad and many unique Gifts for you to shop right here instead of going out of town. As we wind down the weekend, we also appreciate all the people that make it possible for us to be away. Many Thanks to our daughter Emily for taking care of Zoey and to Nick for meeting our customers for floral pick ups and delivering a few arrangements. Most importantly A big Thank you to my other half for taking time from his full time job and our businesses to make this weekend a most memorable one.❤️ ❤️❤️

As we pay tribute to the many lives that were lost on this day 25 years ago, The Gift Garden was honored to be able to provide the wreaths for the 9/11 tribute ceremony today. We thank all that were involved in the planning of such a moving tribute to the thousands of lives that were lost on that day.
