I have some VERY exciting news! Probably slightly more for me - but please help me welcome Kate Smith as Peppermill's Business Support Manager!
"My name is Kate Smith. I’m a mom to two teens and two dogs, a wife, and in past iterations of life, I have worked various jobs from owning a cleaning business to teaching kindergarten. As someone who struggles with autoimmune disease, I have found it extremely important to be mindful of what I put on, in, and around myself, so prioritizing safe ingredients in the products I use at home is a must. I know the care and consideration that Peppermill puts into their ingredient selection, which is why I have been a customer for years. Now, as a member of the Peppermill team, I am thrilled to be a part of a business that cares deeply about quality, safety, and exceptional scents!"
Kate will be assisting owner Shannon with the running of the business, taking on the difficult task of keeping her ADHD ass on track. She'll be donning a hat that covers a wide range of roles including sales and outreach, research and development, and in general providing a steady force to help Peppermill operate smoothly.
I have big hopes for this year once things on my homefront settle down a little, and I am already SO grateful for Kate and the help she can provide.
Fun fact - Kate and I have been friends since we were just wee little things. She was even a loyal bridesmaid when I as a child bride wed my brother in an unsanctioned backyard ceremony.
