This is when you need to contact us! Most people think that at this stage of their build it is too early to think about window coverings. Not true. If you are building a new home or an extensive remodel contact us before the walls are closed up. We can meet onsite, take rough measurements, talk about options and basic pricing, and most important plan ahead for possible wiring needed for future motorized shades.

This 2-finger pinch pleat drapery is a great example of the multi-functions of good window covering design. They add privacy, gorgeous color and pattern, and flexibility with natural lighting. Now we add in the touch of matte gold in the hardware & voilà - exquisite functional beauty!

Beautiful design can be subtle, but we LOVE helping our clients incorporate some bold elements, too! This amethyst slab is BEGGING for a home or business owner to be willing to be bold and make a statement. Let us help you find ways to have fun WITHOUT going over the top; unless you want to go over the top...and we can help you do that, too!😁⭐🎆

Sometimes the design is ALL in the details. Here a white fabric is used in this classic Roman shade. But look at the contrast details with the edge banding and deco tape. Lots of options to customize your window coverings. Rader Homes can help you get as creative as you like!

What does a group of interior designers with a couple of hours on their hands do? Plan a trip to tour the Frank Lloyd Wright house that was relocated to Crystal Bridges, of course! We all loved Mr. Wright's focus of blending the outdoors with the home through the abundance of glass. The design of your home truly impacts your everyday lifestyle.

This is what a wild Friday night looks like at the Rader house. 😂

Fabric books everywhere, samples spread across the table, and a project that needs just the right combination.

Some people go out on Friday nights. We pour a drink and pick out fabrics.

This is our kind of party. 🥃

And yes… we actually love this stuff.
