As we turn off the lights for the very last time to the store, I sit back and reflect on the amazing journey that is the story of Home Sleeps and Living. I had the dream of owning my own business and always loved quality furniture. When I had the opportunity, I took it and opened at the first location in Parma Heights in February 2020. As we are all aware, about 2 weeks into March the WHOLE WORLD shut down and we lost a lot. Once things started opening back up, it was still too slow and the space was too big. We chose to move to the city we call home. We were welcomed with open arms. Everyone we talked to was super supportive and promised to share our name. The raising cost of everything did not help our situation and after 2 years, we had to make the heart wrenching decision to close our doors. In the last 4 years, we have been through a pandemic, celebrated Christmas and birthdays (even hosting a 7yr old birthday party), my kids have played and held several lemonade stands, we've helped many families find the perfect piece for their home, met new and exciting people, participated in many city wide events, shared stories and learned so much.
Thank you to family for "volunteering" to help with deliveries and rearranging the store. And a big Thank you to my wife and kids for helping with everything (including Facebook posts) and eating many dinners at our favorite table. Thank you to everyone who supported this journey.
