Funky B Designs, LLC Helping makers make: http://shop.funkybdesigns.com/ In August of 2008, I began making hair clips for my then two-year-old daughter, Emma.

I've always enjoyed crafting and I thought it would be a fun project. I enjoyed making hair clips to suit my daughter's style. We started getting a lot of compliments on the clips I made, and people wanted to know where to get them. At first, friends wanted them. Then it was a waitress at a restaurant who custom ordered from me. By September 2008, I had my hair clips in a Children's Resale Boutiqu

e in the town I lived in. I started thinking up all kinds of kids accessories I could make. I enjoyed getting to branch out and work my ideas into real products. Soon, I had a shop approach me and want to carry my items. By the end of 2009, I had my products in Children's shops in several states. In October of 2017, I decided to shift my focus from the handmade accessories to craft supplies as well as helping others to start and build their handmade businesses. The kids I used to craft for, that started it all, are now teenagers, working right along side me. They help with pulling orders and shipping out packages. They’re also building their own handmade businesses in the process!
