🍎❤️ It’s almost here!

We’re just a few days away from the 51st Annual Apple Butter Festival, and Berkeley Springs is getting ready for one incredible weekend!

There’s something pretty special about seeing our small town come alive and welcome tens of thousands of visitors for a weekend filled with music, food, arts and crafts, traditions, family fun, and of course, plenty of apple butter.

Heritage Woodsmith is incredibly proud to be one of the many sponsors supporting this year’s Apple Butter Festival, and even more proud to be part of the community that works so hard to make a weekend like this possible. ❤️

Whether you’ve been coming to the Apple Butter Festival for years or this will be your first time, come spend the weekend with us. 🍎🍻 We’re proud to be one of the sponsors of the WV Craft B**r, W**e & Spirits Garden at the 51st Annual Apple Butter Festival!

Apple Butter Festival weekend is something special. Thousands of people make their way to Berkeley Springs for a weekend filled with food, music, vendors, traditions, and everything that makes this festival what it is.

We’re excited to have Heritage Woodsmith be a small part of making this year’s festival happen — and sponsoring the B**r Garden isn’t the only thing we’ve been working on behind the scenes. 😉🌳🍎

We’ve put a whole lot of hours into something pretty special for this year’s festival, and we’re finally getting close to showing you what all those late nights in the shop have been about.

100+ hours on the CNC.
Countless more hours sanding, painting, building, and figuring out how all these pieces come together.

What started as a stack of sheet goods has slowly turned into something BIG — and we’re finally getting close. 👀

There have been long days, late nights, a whole lot of sawdust, plenty of paint, and more than a few “well… let’s figure this out” moments along the way. 😂

But seeing it all start to come together makes every hour worth it.

We’re in the home stretch now.

The final reveal is coming later this week… and trust me, you’re going to want to see this one. 🍎🌳

🌳🎨 Our family tree is branching out… and we had to recruit a few extra hands!
When you're working on something THIS BIG, sometimes you've gotta call in reinforcements! 😂 We put Chris and Johnny to work the other day, and now the painting has officially begun!
A little family teamwork, a whole lot of paint, and plenty of long hours are finally bringing this project to life. We're starting to see the fruits of our labor! 🍎
We still can't spill the beans just yet, but let's just say… something BIG is growing at Heritage Woodsmith! 👀🌳

🇺🇸 NO HERO SHOULD BE HOMELESS 🇺🇸

A little while ago, we shared this plaque and told you that if you wanted it, there was only one way to get it — come out to Southern Rock Wood Stock and bid on it.

Well… the auction happened.

This weekend, Dalton and Johnny made the trip to Delaware to represent Heritage Woodsmith LLC at Southern Rock Woodstock and be there as this one-of-a-kind piece went up for auction.

We knew we had created something special for an incredible cause, but we honestly didn’t know what to expect when the bidding started.

The response absolutely blew us away.

We’re not going to tell you how it ended — we’ll let the video speak for itself. ❤️🇺🇸

What matters most to us is why we do this.

Heritage Woodsmith is incredibly proud to support events like Southern Rock Woodstock and the mission to help our nation’s homeless veterans. When we donate pieces for these events, the proceeds raised from those pieces go toward helping veterans who need it.

There’s something pretty special about watching a piece that started as lumber in our little woodshop in West Virginia travel to another state, get placed in front of a crowd, and ultimately become something that can help another veteran.

That’s what makes all the hours in the shop worth it.

Thank you to everyone who bid, donated, attended, and supported this event. Thank you to the folks at Southern Rock Woodstock for continuing to fight for our veterans. And a huge thank you to Dalton and Johnny for making the trip and representing Heritage Woodsmith.

We couldn’t be prouder.

Sometimes it’s about more than what we build.
It’s about what that piece can do after it leaves our shop. 🇺🇸

The shop has been busy. 🌳

22 full sheets of MDO.
22 different files.
And every single one is different.

There’s a lot of work happening behind the scenes as we bring this project to life — one sheet and one piece at a time.

Cut. Measure. Perfection.

We’re starting to see the fruit of our labor, but there’s still plenty more to come. 👀
