JunieBee Goods Handmade goods from bibs to burp rags. Hi, I'm Carla! I've enjoyed sewing since childhood, but once I became a mom I began sewing out of necessity.

Once my child was born I discovered that she grew quickly out of her clothing, and most of the time the clothes that we did purchase never really fit right. Fed up with the ill-fitting and short lived garments, I purchased my first sewing machine and began making clothes that fit properly and are made to last. I enjoy making items that are designed to grow with children, and are highly functional

for both the caregiver and the child. I also try to use up every scrap of fabric to reduce waste. After lots of practice with making items for my family, I'm excited to share what has worked for us with other busy families.

It's been a minute, life has been busy! But I needed a quiet moment amidst all the things going on in our world. My toddler is tall, but this is her favorite shirt. Sometimes we have to improvise and just add a little length. It reminds me of a ladybug, so cute! 🐞

What an excellent excuse to make myself a new teacher bag. Fabric upcycled from curtains that we saved because it was just too cool to toss.

Hello all, its been a minute since I've posted. Life with 2 kiddos is busy!!

Summer is in full swing here and heating up fast! Ice pops are one of our favorite ways to keep cool on those blistering hot days. But little hands get cold fast, so I've been whipping up some ice pop holders with scraps I've been trying to use up. Let me know if you are interested.

The majority of my sewing prejects are about problem solving, hence my latest adventure.

I plan to use this chair to nurse my next kiddo, as I did my first. It is my favorite chair because it is very comfortable for me, however my daughter was always bumping her head on the arms during feeding sessions when she got bigger. I've made some removable and washable padded covers to solve this problem for the next kiddo, so hopefully we can all be a little more comfortable.

Hi all, it's been awhile since I've shared any updates. With the holidays and another little one on the way I've been focusing my energy on family. But I just wanted to share a fun project I did recently for Junie Bee herself. My favorite shirt was beyond repair, so I made her an adorable little jumper. And it turns out my thoughtful husband replaced my favorite shirt for Christmas. So now we can match, how sweet is that!? 🥰

Hi all, it's been a minute since I've shared. September was a very busy month for us, so less sewing happened this month. Anyhow here's an update! Everyday tee now available. Sz 2T-5T it is on the longer side if your kiddo is taller. It would also be a super cute T shirt dress! $20 or buy as a set with the matching grow with me pants (sz 1-3 years). For $40.
