Inspiration vs. Reality!

With AI-generated floral inspiration photos becoming more and more popular, I wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes look at bringing one of those visions to life!

The first photo is the AI inspiration picture my bride sent me, and the next two are what I actually created!

While AI can create some absolutely stunning floral designs, it’s important to remember that not everything you see in those photos is realistic or achievable with fresh flowers. Flower varieties, colors, sizes, and even the way flowers naturally grow can be very different in real life.

As a florist, my goal isn’t to recreate an AI image stem for stem. It’s to take that inspiration, use my creativity and knowledge of fresh flowers, and bring the vision to life in a way that’s both beautiful and realistic.

And sometimes, I think the real thing turns out even better! 🥰

Thank you, Allison, for sharing these beautiful wedding photos with me! 🤍

There’s something so special about getting to see the flowers I created as part of these moments, and I’m so grateful when my brides share them with me afterward.

Allison and her new husband look absolutely beautiful, and I loved creating these soft, romantic blooms for their special day!

Congratulations to you both! Thank you for trusting Big Lake Floral to be a small part of such a big moment in your lives.

A QUICK REMINDER ABOUT OUR DELIVERY & COMMUNICATION POLICIES

We want every customer to have a great experience with Big Lake Floral, so here are a few important reminders about how we operate.

🌸 Delivery Policy: When an order is placed, we do our best to deliver it efficiently and safely throughout the day. When weather conditions are good and an arrangement can be safely left at the delivery location, we do not call every recipient in advance to confirm they will be home. We understand that schedules vary, but we cannot coordinate individual delivery times around everyone’s availability. If weather conditions are poor and we cannot safely leave the flowers, we will contact the recipient to make arrangements.

📱 Text Messages: We do not accept or respond to text messages. Please call the shop during business hours for questions, order inquiries, or assistance. This allows us to keep communication organized and ensure your needs are properly addressed.

❤️ A Small Business Reminder: We are a small, local flower shop, and we work hard to balance deliveries, designing, customer service, and everything that goes on behind the scenes. We appreciate your patience, understanding, and respect for the policies that help us serve everyone as efficiently as possible.

Thank you for supporting Big Lake Floral and shopping local! 🌷
