During the 1940’s through the 1960’s Americans were driving more. Service workers, commuters, salesmen, vacationers enjoyed the improved interstate highway system. Along these routes, diners and truck stops were built to accommodate these travelers and offer amenities such as meals and coffee.
These establishments needed heavy duty restaurant ware that would stand up to use and abuse. Among the plates, bowls, and other crockery were little creamers served with tea and coffee. They were also utilized by hotels, railroads, military, colleges and others.
Collectors are drawn to the many different patterns, colors, manufacturers of these little creamers. They don’t take up much space and can be acquired relatively inexpensively.
We currently have a wide selection of these restaurant ware creamers. Stop in and give them a look.

100 years ago, after World War I, women entered the roaring 20’s by bobbing their hair, applying makeup in public and traveling. An essential accessory became the travel vanity case. We have this Art Deco example in the shop. It seems to have been well taken care of all these years and is complete. Just lovely.

We have been adding many new items including some uranium and cobalt blue glass. Also, an incredible camel back trunk and an old piano stool.
