This lovely quilt features every amazing animal you see along the Yellowstone National Park in Montana/Wyoming. Each one gorgeous in its own uniqueness!

I wanted to showcase the animals and the quilter’s work, and chose to use a leaf 🍂 stitch in a dark brown color of thread. Quilting and stitching accentuate each other. 🧵🪡🧵

I’m gonna love the Little Snippets line forever, especially since my entire room matches 😍! Yes, I’m that matchy matchy Type A, and OCD quilter. The struggle is real. 🫶🏼.

LOOK 👀 at the cute matching accessories of all kinds that Nicole W. Made for me! As quilters I feel sometimes we get stuck in our own comfort zones. Me for sure! Nicole and I think completely opposite regarding most quilting options, patterns, and designs. lol 😆 Opposites attract, even in friendships. It’s a great privilege to have Quilting friends that force us to think outside our comfort zones, and try new things! Or force us to try new things! Physical force may be required at times! 🫣

Finally, got Big Bertha up and running in the new space! Thanks to Preston for moving and setting it up. 👍 Gotta love his photographic memory.

It was a gorgeous day to feel the breeze, and pick out the perfect pattern for the loaded quilt.

I chose variegated thread to stitch this Client’s quilt. Exctied to deliver it this week. 🧵🪡🧵

Design Wall is a tool as important as my sewing machine! I use it everyday while quilting. Why did I choose this option?

1. I’m old, lazy, and just don’t want to crawl around on the floor to lay out my quilt blocks.

2. Lying my quilt blocks out on my bed doesn’t give me as good of a view. I miss little mistakes, and then they turn into big mistakes.

I’ve used design walls that are basically batting covering cardboard, or just felt fabric itself. I wanted a nicer look, as my area for a design wall is out in the main living area. Little googling, and Amazon to the rescue!

Felt wall squares are sold in different designs and color options for sound proofing, design accents, and QUILTING! It’s not a shock I chose white to contrast the wall color. Plus…I’m very addicted to clean white sewing furniture in my sewing space. Working on it, so no peeks 👀 yet.

Day 1 - Applied the felt tiles easily with the provided adhesive strips. The strips are stated as safe for walls, without damage or paint removal. The only issue is I need to order 1 more box, as I ran out. 😬 Started pinning blocks on the wall and it works AMAZING, and looks GREAT! 🤩

Absolutely stunning pieced top I was thrilled to have the opportunity to quilt. 🧵. Perfect curves in a great color palette. I chose to highlight her precise piecing with a variegated thread. The floral quilting pattern mimics the design within the fabrics. 💜
