Double posting because I just realized I never explained the story behind our label!

I’m sure I’ll be making some tweaks as I go, but hopefully you can see the inspiration here - it’s a vinyl record!

No matter what I did, I hated every label I came up with that covered the jar itself - I wanted it naked and simple. Luckily, in a rare moment of inspiration, I realized that the circular label had already been perfected by none other than the music industry itself.

And what could be a better homage for candles inspired by music released on vinyl to begin with?

I’ve only put up a few listings so far, but I’ll be adding quite a bit over the next few weeks as I work out the kinks and finalize details.

✨POST POP-UPS POST✨

THANK YOU to everyone who came out for my first two pop ups this weekend - it was COLD and WEIRD weather, but I am so proud of what I was able to sell!

Now that they are over and it’s officially Christmas CrunchtimeTM, I’ll be working hard tonight to post what I currently have leftover from the pop ups and other things I’ll be making throughout the week.

Thanks to this new bb, I’m able to melt and keep warm TWELVE POUNDS OF WAX at a time - and gets the stove top and dining table back!! That means I’ll be cranking out some more goodies the rest of this week.

I won’t quite be ready to ship this week, BUT if you’re in the Birmingham-Hoover-etc etc area, or willing to meet, I’m offering local pickup (free!) or drop-off for a small fee (depending on location).

So TLDR - keep your eyes peeled for what’s available, especially if you’re local!

Hey friends!

Here’s some care advice and safety tips for both the salsa jars and candles in vintage glass!

Please note the second slide if you purchase a vintage piece - because these are antique pieces, they require some special caution when you decide to burn them.

Remember kids, only you can prevent (candle) fires! Burn safely and enjoy ❤️❤️

As part of a soft-launch of Both Ends Home Goods, I’ll be at this Last-Chance Holiday pop-up on December 17th - THATS THE LAST SATURDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS Y’ALL.

If you don’t have gifts yet, don’t fret! Not only do our candles make great gifts for anyone and everyone, but we will have 🎁 gift wrapping 🎁 available at our booth as well!!

We’ll be your one stop shop for last-minute gifts that don’t feel last minute at all 👀😘 Fellow procrastinators, I see you, I am you, and I’m here to save you!

The best and most annoying part of this process so far has GOT to be the design and labels - every other day I come up with a new idea! Unfortunately labels take forever to print and arrive at the moment, so I don’t have a ton of wiggle room for playing around with IRL samples 😩

So basically consider this a PSA - there may be tweaks and edits to the *aesthetic* in the future. Actually. There definitely will be. Just count on it. EVENTUALLY I will settle on a final look, but until then let’s just enjoy the ride together!

What do y’all think about this one? I got inspired by some vinyl record labels and thought this would be a fun homage, but idk how I feel about circular labels on glass jars? I need feedback!
