I'm Marilyn, a retired teacher who started making wreaths for the sheer enjoyment of creating something beautiful. Then I made them for friends and relatives. After donating some to various recipients, it was suggested that I sell some

to recoup some of the cost of materials and supplies. Clear Mountain is the translation of my last name, Chiaramonte, and thus, Clear Mountain Creations was born. I never lost my love of teaching, so I also teach wreath-making classes on a regular basis both in Birmingham, Alabama and in Green Valley, Arizona.

Took down the Easter wreaths and centerpieces today at Painted Tree. Sadly, none of them sold. I thought surely some would. Don't know if there's not enough foot traffic or if folks just don't like to decorate for Easter. I put up some generic Spring wreaths. I hope they do better than the Easter ones!

Making some pretty wreaths for Spring and Easter. Thanks to all the customers who've ordered wreaths. The shop in Painted Tree is up and running with wreaths, bows, candle rings and centerpieces. Come and visit - B-29. In case you don't know, Painted Tree is between Marshall's and Academy in the old Nordstrom's Rack building on 280 in the River Ridge shopping center. About 300 vendors!

If you haven't yet discovered or been to Painted Tree Boutiques, I urge you to check it out. It's on 280 where the old Nordstrom's Rack used to be. The shopping area is called River Ridge and includes Target, Marshall's, Academy, Dollar Tree and others. I have a shop at Painted Tree; it's B-29, and there are about 300 vendors so there are some awesome products for sale there.

Valentine's Day is coming and what better way to celebrate than by making a beautiful wreath for the door or inside. We had two workshops: one at North Shelby Library and one at Mt. Laurel. The ladies' hard work paid off! First, North Shelby on Tuesday and then Mt. Laurel on Thursday. Great job, ladies and Happy Valentine' Day!

I have really been remiss in posting. I was busy getting ready for an event, wreathing like crazy and then we went to Italy for a month! So here's some of the most recent wreaths that I made as possible Christmas presents for favorite hairdressers and others for wine lovers. They are yarn and ribbon and ideal as indoor decor.

I'm in Arizona just for the summer (Sunbird!), so my wreath makers asked to make patriotic, Easter and Valentine's wreaths when I arrived. We were in time for the 4th of July, but Easter and Valentine's will have to wait for next year to be displayed. They did a great job. Our next classes will focus on Fall and Halloween, so at least those wreaths will be timely!
