We've restocked Edition 3 from with new colors for your gradient dreams. Édition 3 is a color changing sport/DK yarn made in Germany that creates a beautiful, slow gradient over the course of your project. And if you check the tag- each ball has a little preview of what the gradient looks like (see picture 4!) ✨

This yarn is made from 100% virgin wool and comes 164yards/150m/50g ball. It would be SO perfect paired with Cascade 220 SWM Sport for a color changing sport weight pattern like the Tessellated Vest/Pullover or by itself to dress up a classic pattern. You can see what this would look like in the Soft Focus Sweater by , where Edition 3 is the recommended yarn!

Improv garment classes! Amigurumi! Bag classes! Additional crochet 101 dates! As promised by our previous post, we've added some additional fun knitting and crochet classes to the Knit B'ham lineup for this spring/summer season. We're super flippin excited to have some brand new offerings available for y'all! 🌞

How beautiful does look in her recently finished Cherry Blossom Sweater? 🌸 Andrea came in last week wearing her finished top and we HAD to snap a pic!

This pattern was designed by , and Andrea crocheted it using Ultra Pima in Blueberry to make a comfy, summer friendly, 100% cotton sweater.

Andrea, thanks for always being game to share your wonderful projects! This is a great color for you, and you're going to be able to wear it in any season. Great work 🥰

We're so proud (but so sad) to say that our one and only Kennedy is moving to Philly this week as a triumphant post-grad! We're having a little goodbye get together on Tuesday from 3-5 PM at the shop with treats. Come join us if you can to knit with us and give her a sendoff on her last day 💙

Isabel recently finished her Elton Cardigan, and we're totally in love! It's so happy, and such a fun mix of lace weight stripes made from baby suri in the color Bee Queen and fi*****ng weight sock yarn. was in love with these yellow shades the minute they popped into the shop.

Small gauge projects take time, but the result is worth it. It's so cool to see the transparency of the suri stripes mixed with the fi*****ng weight wool!

We LOVE seeing y'all's finished projects- come show and tell with us! 🥰🫶

Have y'all noticed more and more patterns have been asking for sport weight recently? We have! Enter the sport weight version of our bestselling 220 superwash merino wool- now squishable on our shelves ❤️

The Bamboo Top Knitalong started today! ❤️ We love this super textural and surprisingly easy flowy top. Bamboo was created by .designs and comes in a variety of lengths and sleeve combinations. The contrasting texture is all done through reverse stockinette and slip stitches- no colorwork needed.

Jamie is leading this KAL every Wednesday from 11-12:30 PM in May. She's working on her front panel right now in a white and beige tonal contrast of Line, but we've got a black and grey version made from silk in the shop. It's not too late to sign up if you'd like to join us! 😘

It was a crazy week for new notions in the shop y'all! Not to mention- restocked in cotton merino, merino, pure silk, and soft silk mohair 😍 Lemme break down everything that arrived for ya:

1&2: Our lovely showing our restocked array of quad 4" needle tips, back with more sizes from US 3-US 9 (3.35-5mm)

3: Gorgeous sharp snips from .us in a glossy finish including their new two tone snips! Each pair comes with a fitted tip protector. We also got in yarn snips that have their own little leather sheath.

4: Restocked Pure Silk! More colors! Poppy blue and blood orange are back 🧡

5: 3" Chiao Goo needle tips are HERE in sizes 0-2 😍😍 Compatible with any of their mini cables so that y'all can now make sock circulars without the full kit. Want more short sizes? Let us know below 👇

6: Cocoknits measuring tapes! Eee! They fit in the hand so prettily and come in wild rose, mustard, and clay.

7: Updated buttons 🧵 Corozo nut, ceramic, wood, coconut, shell, hand dyed, vintage, you name it!

8: Restocked cotton merino! Y'all's enthusiasm for this base has been AMAZING and we've fallen totally in love. Undyed, Elephant Blue, Clover Green, and more are back.

9: Skein locks from are actually genius. Take one of these little guys and secure him over the loose end of your yarn skein to lock it in place- no more skeins getting tangled in your bag! Color
