EVER WONDER UNDER YOUR FEET?? The simple bleachers that afford a good viewing angle are made by complicated engineering. The stadium at Bama looks calm when empty. But underneath you can see the web of supports that has to carry the weight of the materials themselves and also of excited humans.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Seems like we are starting off 2025 with a bang. LOL. We hate to get those calls from.the contractor that your new plan, that calls for a new toilet room, uncovered a hidden cast iron pipe. One that sits right in the middle of the newly framed door way. Lol. The only response "the design must proceed. Do what you need to do to rectify the issue!"

With any home reno, you will discover hidden gems that could derail the design you took time to come up with. You just have to decide, " is it worth the headache??" In this instance, the addition of a new toilet room in the primary bath is worth fighting for.

T R E N D A L E R T! We love seeing clients requesting enlarged pantries or back/ secondary kitchens. Although newly rediscovered, this is a very traditional aspect of old English properties. These back kitchens, or a SCULLERY, serve as the perfect place for catering, baking, food prep, or anything you want to remove from an open-plan primary kitchen.

Also, the use of rich, deep colors for the cabinetry/walls and dark stone countertops makes it a workhouse versus an all white kitchen.

We love this gentleman's lounge. Starting out with a moody deep green wall color, the furnishings are selected to foster a sense of downtown swag and chill. Break out the ci**rs and bourbon!

We are excited to add this beauty to the project list. A 1923 Tudor bungalow on the historical registry. The moss in the trees add mystique. She has great bones. A new paint scheme and some design will make her shine once again.
