I love a “first”! Designing an addition around uranium glass was most definitely a thrilling first for me! I had never even heard of uranium glass prior to beginning this large scale project. My client’s lovely collection of uranium glass will be displayed in custom designed cabinetry with refined cremone bolt hardware. The media board shown is just the beginning of many to come and conveys the overall design trajectory for a portion of the main floor. I was fortunate to design 2 kitchens, a laundry/scullery area complete with custom enclosures as well as feeding areas for pups, three bars, the great hall, three bathrooms, and a media room. I also collaborated on the exterior portico as well as selected all exterior lighting by Bevolo. All spatial plans and elevations have been approved so onto chasing perfection with a myriad of selections. I look forward to sharing much more as this dream of a project progresses!
