Thank you for continued love and support for Seth and I as we deal with Fred’s passing. Fred loved Avondale Antiques and treasured all of the friendships he had made. He enjoyed finding all of the unique items, and matching them up with each of you.
The scholarship in Fred’s honor has been set up for The University of Alabama at Birmingham. The link for the scholarship is listed below.

Fred Dyess passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan, 2 after battling Covid. We are still trying to grasp this realization as it happened so quickly. Fred loved Avondale Antiques, but mainly enjoyed the people he met and the conversations they had.

There will be a Celebration of Fred’s life on Saturday, Jan. 22 (11:00 am) at Avondale Antiques. Visitation will begin at 10:30.
A scholarship fund is being set up at UAB for students that are going back to school later in life. Details will be coming soon.

Seth and I would like to thank all of you for the love and support you have given us during this time. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
Judy and Seth Dyess
