This dining room was inspired by the client’s love of blue and green and the large abstract painting on the back wall. She wanted a comfortable dining room for family gatherings. The table is a custom beauty by our friends at Edward Grier.

We color drenched this study in a soft black and added builtins for extra storage. The inside tongue and groove was given a light stain to soften the paint scheme and add contrast. This is one of a pair flanking a desk.

I love the way this dining room came together. The small print wallpaper adds a wonderful warmth and grounds the vintage art collection.

When you have the best clients and the most amazing vendors, this job truly is a blast!! I’m so grateful for both.

…a picture from clients who are moving new selections into a vacation home in Big Canoe, GA. You’d never get me off of this couch!

It has been a privilege to get to know the mission of and to work with them on the renovation of their new home. This foundation serves high achieving disadvantaged high school students by helping them find college placement. Having assisted 315 students over the past 12 years, the foundation is having a great impact on the Birmingham community. This photo gallery represents many of the universities where they have placed students. Quite moving, isn’t it?

Small print wallpapers magically warm a space and add depth. They’re fabulous for layering art. I love how this piece pops against the green backdrop.
