Greeings all, between Covid and the downturn in the economy I haven't been very active in the shop for quite a while. The galleries are reporting increased traffic and asking for more of my work so I thought I'd share some new turnings and a couple that had to be modified. I hope you like them.

Greetings everyone, I really appreciate all the new likes and shares of this page. For anyone in East Idaho or traveling through the area, some of my work along with many other very talented turners is on display at the Pocatello Marshal Public Library at 113 S. Garfield Ave. Stop by and check it out, you'll see some really cool stuff. The display is on the second floor.

For those in the Pacfic Northwest, there is a show coming up in Boise that draws world class woodworkers, wood turnes and gourd artists from several states. If you have time it is definately worth checking out.

I've been holding three pieces back for the Buffalo Bill art show in Cody, WY. That didn't work out so now all three are available. They are currently on display at the Pocatello Art Center, 444 North Main street. Their are other turnings there from the Poutneuf Valley Woodturniers Association. Stop by and check out the display, you'll see some pretty cool stuff.

I wanted to let everyone know that some of my work will be on display at the Pocatello Art Center starting tomorrow. Other local wood turners will be displaying their work as well. Anyone that is local should come and check it out. I think these two pieces will be on display and available for sale. The cans are for a size reference.

It's been a while since I've posted any new pieces. I've been working on these two for quite a while. It may not look like it but both of these are larger than my normal work and a good bit more complicated. I've been trying to figure out how to do a kachina piece that I was happy with for over a year. I think I finally have it figured out.

I've been working on this one close to 3 months. 2 feet tall, 15 inches at the hips, 661 pieces of bloodwood, maple and cherry.

My apologies for the long delay in posting. I know I promised something special for #200. We are still working on it. It;s proven to be a lot more complicated than I thought it would.
