Proprioception is the sensory feedback our muscles and joints send to the brain, helping us understand where our body is in space. Often called “heavy work” input, it plays a key role in supporting body awareness, self-regulation, and nervous system organization. It can be incredibly regulating, calming, and organizing for the nervous system 💪🏻🧠
