BEDROOM TRANSFORMATION!🩵⚜️🤍

I had the opportunity of transforming this bedroom from Boho to French Provincial for a very special teen girl that I’ve had the pleasure of watching grow up into a strong, independent yet soft spoken, gentle heart with a fierce determination for the many goal she sets out to achieve🫶🏼
This project was a full circle moment for me as I spent much time reflecting on past moments where I would be rocking her to sleep in her own nursery (I was known as a “Baby Whisperer” 💁🏻♀️) many moons ago… All while creating a space for her to make her own during her teenage years 🥹
Brenna had a vision of what she wanted from the start! She knew she wanted something different that involved a time period that most 13 years old girls aren’t too familiar with… So we sat down together and began going over paints, wallpapers, textiles and other design elements that would bring her vision to life!
When designing her room, I wanted to make sure that her room would still be a fun and inviting hangout space with for her many slumber parties with her girl gang! So we kept a couple functional pieces from the previous design and incorporated a bit of modern needs to her 18th century inspired design👌🏼
✨TIME FOR TRANSFORMATION✨
- Peel & stick wallpaper and picture molding (ask me for details!)
- Custom built canopy to make getting the proper amount beauty rest was a piece of cake! (Yes, a Marie Antoinnette reference of course 🍰)
- Antique nightstands and vanity that were locally sourced and restored with new paint, added gold detailing and crystal and gold pull hardware
- Vanity chair was formally a barstool that was transformed into a perfect vanity chair
- New bedding and pillows with textiles that capture the French Provincial look ⚜️
- New white ruffle window treatments with gold drape hardware were installed
- Bedside lighting was thrifted and brought back to life with a little TLC 💡
- Artwork and antiques finished off the final look! 🤩
