We apologize to our guests, vendors, and community. With less than a week away, many of us have been excited for the first market of the season! We received news today (Friday), that we had to cancel the Mother's Day Market at Vienna Farmers Market, which was going to be this up coming Thursday, May 7th. Please let your friends and family know. Our biggest concern right now is for people that don't receive this message, end up coming out to the event to find nothing. We realize that we all like to share great news. What would make it great is that it keeps someone from taking the trip out to the market day and finding it empty. We will see everyone on Thursday, June 4th at the Opening Day of the Vienna Farmers Market!. Thank you for all your support.

For everyone and anyone...let's see what we can create here as our destination farmers market. It's local. It's regional. It's your market. The Vienna Farmers Market! If you know anyone in the media world, please share this with them:

Vienna Farmers Market Kicks Off Season with Community-Focused Opening Day Celebration
The Vienna Farmers Market returns for another vibrant season in Oneida County, with an Opening Day celebration that brings together local agriculture, small businesses, and community spirit in a big way.
Held at the North Bay Fire Dept's- Fireman's Field, Opening Day of the Vienna Farmers Market! is more than just a market—it’s a full community event. Visitors will find a wide selection of farm vendors offering fresh, locally grown produce, meats, baked goods, and specialty items, alongside talented artisan crafters showcasing handmade goods that reflect the region’s creativity and craftsmanship.
Adding to the excitement, the popular Vienna Car Cruise—hosted by the North Bay Fire Department—returns, offering a showcase of classic and custom vehicles. The Fire Department also operates the market’s food concessions, serving up crowd favorites at affordable prices, with proceeds supporting their ongoing community fundraising efforts.
Agriculture takes center stage with a special meet-up by the Central New York Antique Tractor Club inc., where attendees can get an up-close look at vintage tractors and learn more about the area’s farming heritage.
Opening Day will also feature live media and special guests. BIG FROG 104 will broadcast live during the first part of the market, bringing energy and music to the grounds. Joining the celebration is Christie Casciano, news anchor from WSYR-TV, who will be signing copies of her children’s book, The Puck Hog—a perfect tie-in with the market’s family-friendly atmosphere and Homestead Homeschool programming.
Live music begins at 2:30 p.m. on the Adirondack Bank Stage, featuring a lineup of performers who will appear throughout the season. At 4 p.m., local favorite Dave Schneider—known to many as “Big D”—takes the stage through 6 p.m., delivering an energetic set to close out the day.
Families will also enjoy hands-on agricultural learning experiences as part of the Homestead Homeschool program, including a dairy sheep milking demonstration and lamb petting by 7 Lamb Farm—giving children a meaningful connection to farm life.
The day begins with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony featuring community partners including County Tourism, Sylvan Beach Tourism, the Town of Vienna, Adirondack Bank, the North Bay Fire Department, and M&T Bank, marking the official start of the 2026 season.
With something for everyone—fresh food, live music, educational experiences, and community pride—the Vienna Farmers Market continues to grow as Vienna’s destination place.

Let's break it down. The North Bay Fire Department has been getting calls regarding the Vienna Farmers Market. The Farms of ADL manages the whole Farmers Market and it is at the North Bay Fire Dept's- Fireman's Field, but the fire dept isn't the management. The great thing about the market is that different groups are taking ownership of segments of the market. The Vienna Car Cruise is brought to us by the NBFD, yet communication goes through [email protected]. This cuts down on our scams & spams from imitators.
We have other segments of the market:
The market itself that has the Welcome Tent brought to us by M&T Bank where folks are able to pick up their Farm Boxes, redeem their SNAP/EBT benefits for market tokens, PLUS double their benefits with the NY State Fresh Connect Program. FMNP is also distributed out of the Welcome tent by the County Office for the Aging. The Farm Box program is run by The Farms of ADL and Cranberry Ridge Farm And Apothecary.
Opening Day of the Vienna Farmers Market! at the market is supported by the of Vienna, County Tourism, Sylvan Beach Tourism, and more!
The music is made possible through a grant from Adirondack Bank!
The Central New York Antique Tractor Club inc. brings us our Tractor Meet-Ups on the first Thursdays of the month. Bring your tractors and other antique motors, corn huskers...
We are introducing our Vienna Farmers Market Homestead Homeschool and have support from a couple local homesteads. We are submitting grants for support and ownership of this valuable program.
Our consistent supply of local prepared burgers, hot dogs, fries and more are brought to us by the NBFD Grill Masters, Jeffrey Mouck and Fox.
There are more events being planned and more local folks and organizations coming together to make this the Destination Place for the Town of Vienna! :)

Believe me, there's even more going on than this!!! Opening Day of the Vienna Farmers Market!, June 4th, 2-6pm at the North Bay Fire Dept's- Fireman's Field. We have A LOT of room at this place. Lot's of vendor space available, however we limit so many vendors per category. We are excited!!!

We are setting up a schedule for the 2026 season at the Vienna Farmers Market.
In Florida, I had a place that allowed folks to attend an wine making event, pick the variety of grape they wanted, then make their wine. The winery then stored it in barrels for a couple of months. They contacted us when it was ready. We brought our bottles and labels, filled our bottles and had a couple of cases ready to use for Holiday gifts.
Who knows someone, or winery that can do this at the market?

The other side of this: Rather than folks throwing wine bottles away, we'll donate them to one of our participating vendors. Who do we have?

I’ll be here

This may not be 100% to the layout, but we are heading in the right direction. We would like to leave the space open in front of the pole barn. Guests can go inside and grab something to eat, then they can set up their lawn chairs and relax while listening to the music. Guests can walk around to check out the cars, trucks & tractors. Vendors have all your fresh fruits, veggies and other farm products to bring home for your weekend meals! Grab some knick-knacks or gifts from our crafters too!
We are Vienna's new destination place!

Next Friday, the Vienna Farmers Market will be meeting up with a group of Amish and Mennonites from the Oneida/Madison County area. We know we all ready have some produce, and we want to give our customers choices. We have beef, chicken, and pork. We have baked goods, honey, nuts, and eggs. Jams & Jellies too.
We want fresh gourmet mushrooms, olive oils, vinegar, sauces, wine & craft beers, seafood, grains & cereals, dairy and more. We have some homemade crafts as well.
Thank you to M&T Bank for the support with our SNAP/EBT token program to support more local folks. Our "Farm Box" program will begin in June! Thank you for being a part of us in 2026
