Meet Fritter!

Fritter is a 4 month old female Australian Cattle Dog Blend. She is currently 13 pounds and will be a larger dog once full grown. Fritter is just as sweet as her name and very smart! She does great with other puppies and will need puppy training as she grows.

So many things can live in a human heart all at once. Grief and gratitude. Love and loss. Hurt and hope.

Seemingly opposite things, all begging to take up space and be seen and heard.

But, life is learning to live in the tension. To feel the things you need to feel. To process at your own pace. To allow other people in when it feels impossible to face.

And above all else, even here, to hope. To let the gentle whisper of hope comfort and guide our broken hearts.

Hope and grief, together in one hurting heart. May we all do our best to carry both. ❤️

UPDATE: This pup has found a home but there are other siblings - every bit as adorable and deserving - who will be available to foster or adopt soon.

Piper’s brother needs a foster or adopter! He is about two years old and very sweet although scared and unhappy in the kennel. He needs someone to show him love and reassure him that life is wonderful. 💕
