AVAILABLE • Spooky Season Art • I actually love these Banana Orb Weaver Spiders. They often pop up this time of the year and help control pests • A note about the process…most of my pieces are original, digital, hand drawn black line drawings that I print and hand watercolor and detail. In this case, I mainly hand shaded with a graphite pencil after printing. I love pencil shading. The digital format makes achieving symmetry much less time consuming than the former way I would do it with a light box. Same basic process of drawing half of a design, just a different way of getting the other half. 🕷️

"Nature" is what we see—
The Hill—the Afternoon—
Squirrel—Eclipse—the Bumble bee—
Nay—Nature is Heaven—
Nature is what we hear—
The Bobolink—the Sea—
Thunder—the Cricket—
Nay—Nature is Harmony—
Nature is what we know—
Yet have no art to say—
So impotent Our Wisdom is
To her Simplicity.
-Emily Dickinson
