Announcing one last pottery show and sale for 2024 with LoCo Potters, Sunday, December 8 from 10am-4pm at Maple Cottage Pottery (18301 Clayton Hall Rd., Bluemont, VA 20135). The fire pit will be blazing and lots of wonderful pottery created by artists of this local pottery collective will be available for purchase. Hope to see you there!!!

Newly completed wreath decorated with handmade seasonal ornaments. Truly one-of-a-kind!!! It will be available for purchase at the Bluemont Community Center Holiday Craft Show on 11/30 and, if not already taken, at The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley Museum Store event on 12/1. Both shows are free admission.

The Bluemont Fair was wonderful--even dancing between the occasional raindrops was wonderful!! Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Gardener's Shed and to especially those who took a piece of MCP work home with them!!! Hope to see you again next year!!!!

Save the date!!! The 54th Annual Bluemont Fair is coming up in just a few short weeks- 9/21 & 22, 10am-5pm, both days, rain or shine!!! It takes place throughout the historic village, with juried crafters, music, a wide variety of food, a children's fair with rock climbing wall & petting zoo, beer & wine garden, art show & sale, gardeners shed (where works from Maple Cottage Pottery will be for sale), quilt show, bake sale, native american exhibit in the Plaster Museum, a pickle & pie contest, and more!!! Great fun for all ages!

Fields of Flowers Hosts Pottery Show and Sale by LoCo Potters on Saturday, July 13, 2024 10am-4pm
Fields of Flowers, the long-standing pick-your-own flower farm in Western Loudoun County, VA is hosting a pottery show and sale on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 10am to 4pm. The potteryrepresented are works of talented local potters known collectively as LoCo Potters. Their work features functional pieces: mugs, bowls, pitchers, casseroles, vases, bird houses and feeders, plates, and platters, as well as art works. All are hand-thrown or built, glazed, and decorated. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind creation suitable for everyday use or as a gift, and microwave and dishwasher safe. This is the only sale by LoCo Potters this summer!!!!!
Fields of Flowers invites visitors to cut beautiful seasonal blooms and provides containers and clippers to complete the task. Blooms expected to peak in July include hydrangea, cone flower, verbena, veronica, heliopsis, sunflower, zinnia, yarrow, cosmos, rudbeckia, daisy, marigold, and dahlia! Free admission to the gardens, flowers are priced based on size of provided containers. Fields of Flowers is located at 37879 Allder School Rd., Purcellville, VA 20132 near the corner of Berlin Turnpike (Rt 287) heading north.
