Took Walt on a mom and son date to the Fort Worth stock show on opening day! We had a wonderful time—got to see for a bit and say hello to all the longhorns she tends to. We also checked out the ag mechanics area where high school students showcase their hard work by making trailers, smokers, gates, swings, farming implements, restored antique tractors, even a portable deer processing station!! I was blown away by the talent. I truly hope Walt will get to experience something like this once he gets older. We obviously checked out and fit tested all the tractors and heavy equipment. Spent hours looking at the toys 🚜. Walt colored a Kubota coloring sheet green and even wrote “John Deere” over the Kubota logo and then proudly hung it up in the Kubota showroom floor. Pretty sure he’ll be banned for life. We saw farm animals and watched chicks hatch in incubators. It was a fun filled day.
