Cooler weather is finally here, and Low Country Shrimp and Knits is ready to teach you to knit or crochet!

We’ve waited months for weather that makes a scarf seem like a reasonable life choice. Now let’s learn how to make one.

Join us Saturday, November 14th, for our beginner classes—no experience required. We’ll supply the yarn, needles or hook, and patient instruction. You supply the willingness to be a beginner at something. We realize that last part is asking a lot.

🧶 Learn to Crochet: 10 AM–12 PM
🧶 Learn to Knit: 2–4 PM
✨ $75 per class, including supplies

I am putting the finishing touches on the Low Country Shrimp and Knits 2026 Winter Advent Calendar and I am sooo excited about it! Not only do we have 25 fabulous Freckled Frog Yarns locally hand dyed skeins to open up, but I have written a sweet story to go along with the ice cream color theme. Our protagonist- Frog - decides to open up a small business and uncovers a hidden mystery in Maple Hollow.

It has Tracy humor and fun extras to go along with the story. So much work has gone into getting this ready, but I’m excited about this first for me!

We have less than 10 of both the classic colored and sparkly kits available. If you haven’t grabbed yours yet - now’s the time to do so!

Laughter every morning in December until Christmas plus gorgeous fibers - who can ask for a better gift than that?!?

Caitlin only thought she was done with Knit-Alongs for the year, but boy was she mistaken!

Join us for the last sweater king-along of 2026: The Petiteknit Olga sweater. There's just something about a stripe that is a siren song. The Olga knits up to be the perfect, "just throw it on like a sweatshirt," sweater that looks far more elevated. It's comfy, it's cozy, and since it's knit in DK weight yarn it's not too heavy for the Low Country.

If you need help - we have drop in classes Tuesdays and Fridays with Get You Knit Together to help you with your projects. We also have Stitch ER on Thursdays if you need us to help fix a mistake and get your project back on track. Plus, you can always get one-on-one help with a private lesson.
