Come spend a day with me. 💙

Coffee first, of course. ☕️ Then it’s time to get the dog out, get breakfast on the table, pack lunches and get everyone out the door. Before I start working, self care always… it just makes me a better mom and businesses owner.

Then I’m off to the shop. There’s always something to do, whether I’m helping a customer, putting together a gift, unpacking new things or getting ready for what’s coming next.

And somewhere in between all of that, I’m thinking about dinner. I’ll prep a few things for the family, get as much done as I can ahead of time and then head back home to change gears.

Because once the evening rolls around, it’s football time. 🏈

There’s something about these busy days that I really love. They’re full, they’re a little chaotic, and there is always somewhere to be, but they’re also the everyday moments that make up life.

I want quality kitchen tools and kitchen essentials that work beautifully, hold up to everyday use, and don’t need to be replaced every year.

For me, it’s worth investing in high-quality cookware, cooking tools, and kitchen products that I know I’ll reach for again and again. The best pieces become part of your everyday routine and, when they’re made well, can last for years.

Gift giving is one of those little things I really enjoy being a part of.

When a client comes in and needs a gift, I love walking around the shop and picking out things I think they will love. A little something for the kitchen, something pretty for the home, maybe a favorite candle or something fun to enjoy. Then I put it all together in a basket, wrap it up with a bow and, if they are local, I’ll even hand deliver it right to their doorstep.

I also get to do this for some of my favorite local professionals. Real estate agents, interior designers and builders often come to me for custom client gifts, especially closing gifts and new home gifts. I love helping them create something thoughtful that their clients will enjoy.

This is one of the little things that makes shopping with a local small business so special. You get to know your customers and add a personal touch that will make someone’s day a little sweeter. 🤎

Mom hack: Make the snack the activity ✨

Forget the snack drawer. Put the kids to work. 😉

A grazing board is a fun way to turn the after-school chaos into a little quality time together. Let the kids help build it, load it up with their favorite fruits, veggies, cheese, meats, and whatever else they love, and everyone is snacking, talking, and hanging out in the kitchen.

It’s an easy way to sneak in more veggies, get them involved in the kitchen, and get a few minutes of connection before everyone disappears into homework, sports, and the rest of the evening.

And of course, I’m starting with my favorite Boos Board as the base. ❤️

I definitely am. Give me a beautiful cake stand and I will find a reason to put a cake on it.

And clearly, I’m in good company because Ina Garten is a cake stand collector too. Her collection is pretty amazing, and I love seeing the different cake stands she uses in her kitchen and for entertaining.

We have some really beautiful cake stands in the store right now, from Simon Pearce to Hôtel Silver. They’re such an easy way to make a dessert table or everyday tablescape feel a little more special.
