“Architects and designers have a greater ability to improve public health than medical professionals.”
Dr. Claudia Miller
That quote stopped me in my tracks the first time I read it.
Most people think interior design is about making a space look beautiful. I believe it’s about something much bigger.
The spaces we live, work, learn, and heal in shape our mood, stress levels, relationships, productivity, sleep, and overall well-being every single day. Design has the power to calm anxiety, encourage connection, support learning, inspire creativity, and even improve physical health.
That’s why I became Science in Design Certified. Because great design isn’t just about aesthetics. It’s about creating environments that help people live better.
The best spaces don’t just look different.
They make you feel different.
